RRA Addiction Treatment was born from a regional public health initiative responding to Oakland's growing substance use crisis. Over 22 years, we have grown from a community-driven pilot program into one of the East Bay's most trusted addiction treatment centers, serving more than 8,400 patients along the way.

Medical Detox
Our 3-to-7-day medical detox program provides 24/7 physician-supervised withdrawal management with medication-assisted treatment when clinically appropriate. We monitor vital signs continuously and adjust protocols in real time so you can stabilize safely and comfortably before transitioning to the next phase of care.
Residential Treatment
During our 30-to-90-day residential program, you live on-site in one of 48 private or semi-private rooms while engaging in daily individual counseling, group therapy, and holistic wellness activities. Our balanced schedule ensures equal attention to clinical work, physical health, creative expression, and personal reflection.
Outpatient Program
Our outpatient track lets you maintain work, school, or family commitments while attending structured therapy sessions multiple times per week. Intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) options provide flexibility without sacrificing clinical depth, keeping you connected to your treatment team throughout recovery.
